The ATPRA is a pool supervision and rescue award for aquatic therapists and support workers working during programmed activities. It is suitable for those working in a variety of pools, including where the water is deeper than your standing depth.

This qualification is endorsed by the Aquatic Therapy Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (ATACP) and is a non-regulated award. 

If the facility has qualified lifeguards or first-aiders available to respond quickly to a therapist or support worker in an emergency, you could consider an ATPRA LIGHT qualification

This course is externally assessed and runs over two days.

The cost for this course is £150.
